While watching a news report about the tragic death of a child who was left in a closed car, Laurie and Terry Boyne discussed the need for some type of device to help parents and caregivers remember their child was in the car.

We wanted it to be a simple device that, unlike more complicated inventions, would not rely on technology, would work in any car and be portable from one car to the next as caregivers changed. We also insisted that the idea be affordable for everyone.

After some brain storming and sketching out ideas we designed with the help of family and friends a simple, effective reminder concept and set about developing a prototype and applying for a patent on the concept. The Baby Bee Safe™ Child in Car Reminder System is the result of that creative effort.
